ever regret not telling you,
all that I wanted to say,
all that I kept thinking.

Often in movies and especially in TV the common drama is: I'm in love with him/her but if I say so we might lose our friendship. Normally the producers can get at least three seasons out of something like that.
Perhaps a little more honesty would do everyone in real life some good.
